10/15/2012 Cathedral Rock Hike

This past week our friend Jim Herring was in town visiting from Kansas. On the fourth day of his visit we drove to the Mt. Charleston area and hiked the trail to the summit of Cathedral Rock. This was Jim’s first time here, and my second this year. I was still surprised, and pleased, to see that some of the Aspen trees still had some Fall color.
