Cold Creek, Nevada – Early Fall
Driving west, on SR 172, this is a view of the approach to the town of Cold Creek, Nevada. This picture was taken on 09/01/2011 on a daytrip with the rock hounds from the Heritage Park Senior Facility. I used a the "tilt-Shift" effect on this picture to enhance the houses in the picture. It was converted to a “Tilt-Shift” picture using http://tiltshiftmaker.com/. |

Cold Creek, Nevada - Early Spring
A view of the town of Cold Creek, Nevada. This picture was shot 03/24/2011 on a daytrip with the rock hounds from the Heritage Park Senior Facility. I used a the "tilt-Shift" effect on this picture to enhance the houses in the picture. The fact that It had snowed for several hours the night before our visit, added a nice "wintertime" look, one we don't often get to see living in Las Vegas.

View of Kyle Canyon

The Village at Lake Las Vegas
This picture was taken back on 4/3/2004, and has always been one of my favorite pictures of The Village. It was converted to a “Tilt-Shift” picture using http://tiltshiftmaker.com/. Having opened in the spring of 2003, The Village is reminiscent of an old world Italian lakeside village. One can be instantly transported back in time with quaint cobblestone streets, piazzas, specialty boutiques and lakeside restaurants tucked into every street.and a lakeside boat dock. Even though this area has taken a huge ‘hit’ as a result of the fallen economy, It is still one of our favorite places to visit. |
